Challenge
The Great Grid Upgrade is the UK's largest electricity transmission infrastructure programme. The partnership needed to demonstrate a comprehensive risk management approach in its tender, covering technical, commercial, and programme risks across a portfolio of transmission projects. The tender also required a clear articulation of how contractual performance mechanisms would be managed and monitored.
Solution
Floreer led the development of the risk management strategy, risk policies, and procedures for the tender submission. This included facilitating risk workshops to identify and assess key risks, developing the risk allocation and mitigation approach, and articulating how performance mechanisms would be managed to ensure delivery against contractual targets.
Outcome
